Emily Sills

Artistic Director

Emily trained as an Actor at East 15 Acting School and graduated with a BA in Acting in 2006.  She has worked extensively in theatre and now focuses her energy on music, singing with a variety of different bands/artists. Alongside her work as an actor and a singer she works as a Drama Specialist at a variety of Schools across London.  She met Rachel whilst working at a Primary School and realised their mutual passion for creating theatre with young people.

Rachel McCarter

Artistic Director

Rachel trained as an actress at Bretton Hall, The University of Leeds and graduated with a BA (Hons) degree. Specialising in immersive theatre during her degree, she went on to create immersive and site specific theatre in London for children and adults. She worked as the Assistant to the Artistic Director of Combination Dance Company where she developed dance classes for adults and children with special learning and behavioural needs. Rachel is also a trained primary school teacher and combined her love for teaching and immersive theatre to found Paper Chain Theatre. She has worked in a variety of schools across London, delivering themed bespoke drama workshops.

Vivienne Acheampong

Actor

Vivienne Acheampong has been a long standing and integral part of the team at Paperchain Theatre.

Dave MacRae

Actor

Dave graduated from Birmingham School of Acting in 2006. Working extensively in theatre & film, he has a wealth of acting experience. In fact, films he has been involved in have won or been nominated at various film festivals around the world (including BAFTA nominated short, “Good Night”). In tandem with his ‘acting chops’, Dave has worked extensively in primary schools throughout London for many years.

Russell Ditchfield

Actor

Russell studied acting at East 15 Acting School.  Having worked for many years as a professional musician, Russell returned to acting appearing in various projects at the Bush theatre and  Battersea Arts Centre.  Most recently he directed a youth project at the Unicorn theatre and continues to be involved with youth and community projects across London.  Russell first began working for Paper Chain Theatre during their creative learning experience at The Saatchi Gallery in 2015.

Akemnji Ndifornyen

Akemnji Ndifornyen has been a long standing and integral part of the team at Paperchain Theatre.
